Terms of Service

Welcome to SidelineOS. By accessing or using our websites at sidelineos.cc and app.sidelineos.cc (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

SidelineOS offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time. We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense any content from the Service

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including play diagrams, animations, narration text, terminology definitions, decision trees, and visual designs — is owned by SidelineOS or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for your own educational use. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

6. User-Generated Content

If you create plays, notes, or other content through the Service, you retain ownership of that content. By creating it on the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process that content as necessary to operate the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Basketball strategy content is provided for educational purposes only and should not be taken as professional coaching advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SidelineOS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SidelineOS from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New York, New York.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
